Located in a district formerly known for it's night life, Pensão Amor (not a pension anymore, the name was just kept) is Lisbon's new artsie center. The whole of the building was transformed into a hub of ateliers and small office places, and the ground floor was transformed into a bar. It is decorated in a style reminding us of the original use of the pensão, a place where prostitutes would go for unexpensive rooms for short (or less short!) moments of pleasure :-) I was there yesterday and loved the atmosphere :-)
